Títulos como "Acceptance is Reality" (Dalhous), "Singleminded" (Secret Boyfriend) o "I woke up and the storm was over" (Tropic of Cancer) dejan ver una estética rayana en el nihilismo y enajenación de corrientes como el post punk y el industrial.
Sin duda recoge la posta de tótems como "Heavenly Voices", "Lonely is an eyesore" o "50 years of sunshine".
Solo existe versión vinílica LP y puedes adquirirla vía Blackest Ever Black (o discogs). Joya de la vida.

Black Tape For A Blue Girl, Ivo Watts-Russel, Projekt Records, Guernica label, 4AD, Astralwerks are entities that set fire to many music lovers in 90s and 80s. Kiran Sande was one of them. His ardor would lead him to exercise the office of music critic to finally start a record label that reflects his sonic passions. That's Blackest Ever Black, started in 2010 based in London. "I can't give you the life you want" shows some of the artists that make up its catalog on the occasion of its fifth anniversary in 2015.
Dark ambient ala Pieter Nooten with Michael Brook, techno dub in vein Vladislav Delay meets This Mortal Coil meets Throbbing Gristle and more super stimulating electronica is what we find at each step of the 11 tracks that make up this manifesto. People who grew up listening to the indicated discs -if you're here, you know what they are- resisting the harassment of mediocre mass media and immersing themselves in ad hoc parties and concerts. Titles like "Acceptance is Reality" (Dalhous), "Singleminded" (Secret Boyfriend) or "I woke up and the storm was over" (Tropic of Cancer) show an aesthetic bordering on nihilism and alienation of currents like post punk and industrial. The music of this compilation certainly drink from those isms but they don't fall in the xerox copy like thousands do. They receive from those radiations and modify them with their own seeds.
Another sign to highlight today that we are in the days of #MeToo is the female presence. From the beautiful Carla dal Forno -who introduces her talents in Tarcar and Tarquin Manek combos- to capes like Veronica Vasicka of 500 Stamps and Camella Lobo of Tropic of Cancer. Will they be part of the legion of women harassed and violated by their male counterparts? It's certainly something that is often smelled in the indie music scene.
"I can't give you the life you want" is already a classic of the avantgarde scene. In times of gentrification and pasteurization of formerly vanguards it feels good to know ARTISTS and not clowns in mode "I'm cool indie hipster". With no doubt pick up the post of totems like "Heavenly Voices", "Lonely is an eyesore" or "50 years of sunshine".
There is only LP vinyl version and you can buy it via Blackest Ever Black (or discogs). Jewel of life.
