Russian Winter Records, the obscure indie label from Kansas (Missouri, USA) that decorates the world with oustanding documents in the fields of post punk, folk and electronica at 1dollar per item (¡!) is celebrating 10 years of musical activism with a sublime compilation entitled "Nothing is harder than a russian winter". We've never been to Russia -only heard Labradford's "Star City, Russia" track- but this winter is really something we don´t want to end.
What i hear here are colorful hits and melodies specially recommended if you enjoy the music of bands like Toad the Wet Sprocket, Spirea X, Boo Radleys, The Levellers, Toad the Wet Sprocket, et al.
